Here are some amazing pieces and styles to consider this season.
- Colors: Let’s start with colors first. Every fall season there is a special color that leading designers and popular brands focus on and for this season, some colors to try are army green, red, blush pink, indigo blues, yellow and powder gray. This season, many runaways displayed a lot of colors, surprising the fashion influencers and admirers by showcasing bright colors and unusual color combinations that we normally don’t see in fashion weeks during fall.
Pants: Jeans are great but if you are following fashion influencers or watching styling videos on social media platforms, then you might have seen a lot people wearing and trying out high waisted, wide leg pants. This trend kind of started last year but really got prevalent in mainstream fashion this year. Relaxed and comfortable, work style pants look very stylish, chic and very easy to get from vintage stores for affordable prices if you don’t want to spend too much money on designer wear but would still like to try out this trend.
Oversized: Whether it’s wide leg pants, big sweaters or oversized blazers, oversized fashion seems like it’s here to stay. Oversized was always present in hip-hop and athleisure but now it more mainstream and making its way into the runaway and fast fashion more now than ever before.
Vest: Vest has been around for several seasons and the trend continues. It’s great for layering but can also been worn as a staple piece if you try bright color vests.
Tip: Few tips that I’d like to mention here is when you’re trying out a trend and upgrading your wardrobe, unless you love the new trends and onboard with the styles, it’s always a good idea to search for some of these staples in fast fashion so instead of spending a lot of money on something, you can try it on first to get a feel of it and test it out yourself before making an investment on it and really committing to these styles. Another great way to score some great tailored blazer and oversized clothes are vintage stores also known as secondhand stores. Since a lot of recent fall trends capture an essence of old vintage classic designs and cuts, there are high chances that you might find some great pieces for fraction of the pieces and wonderful quality fabric from those stores. You can also try websites like Etsy, Ebay, Poshmark and ThredUp that sell vintage clothes.
